Daniel “Dan” Donato has been a licensed real estate agent since 1988, is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors, and Long Island Board of Realtors, and is certified in negotiating real estate sales and purchases. A lifelong resident of Smithtown, Dan proudly raised his family there, helping to guide his three children through the Smithtown schools, and the many programs the district has to offer. Dan was actively involved in scouting, coaching multiple youth sports, and helping with community activities. Always wanting to give back, he continues to be involved in events such as Business Olympics, and mentoring students for DECA competitions. He also coaches a high school softball team.

In 1990 Dan graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a BA in Business and an AAS degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk Community College. After a career in law enforcement, Dan returned to the exciting and rewarding career of real estate and Coach Realtors in 2017.
